Service was sooo slow. Too over hand an hour for our breakfast to come out of the kitchen.

Dont get me wrong my first time was hear the breakfast was good. Just the homefries were not cooked enough and not crispy. I did enjoy my meal.

Well, I didn't expect it to be great, but I didn't expect it to be terrible either. A quick stop to eat turned into a nightmare. I ordered blueberry pancakes and turkey bacon (simple right?); It was the worst breakfast I've ever had from any restaurant. The blueberries were molded, the pancake tasted like biscuits and the serving size was entirely too big, and the bacon looked like it was microwaved burnt. Lastly, when receiving the bill, I noticed that I was over charged because the server tried to include a tip. Needless to say, I'll never eat at this place again.

We are from out and it was recommended to us by the hotel. Did not disappoint.

STAFF is always on point. Great service and prices are fair. They are doing a great job with the new regulations. The reason for the 4 is the food is good, however it could be a notch better

Good food , awful chocolate milk, bad service, and waiter and manager called me and my dogs out about tip when we left more than enough. Just a bad look on there part and will never be in 50 ft radius of that place . Carry on

Great local spot with good service, fine food, sensible prices and a big ol' breakfast menu. No franchise, no hoopla, just excellent down home fare.

Food was fresh, hot and well done. Server had no personality but was quick and efficient. Proxes we're cheap for good quality food. Would go back for sure.

I give it 1 star only because 0 wasn't an option. Unless you are a 'regular' , expect to be treated as a second class citizen. After waiting over almost 30 minutes (told wait was 15 min) we witnessed SEVERAL parties being seated , even after they arrived well after us. When we asked about it, the waitress said "Oh, they come here all the time". Great, our family will not be.

What a diner should be fast quick service that is amazing and brought with a smile. The food is always spot on and there is never anything I can find to complain about. The pictures on the wall of different RI spots is also a cute touch to this awesome diner.

This place is awesome, my friend bought a summer home near there and her and husband go all the time and when we do girls weekend. We are there for breakfast. And the staff is great. They are friendly. We will be back.. thanks to the cook and the wait staff.

I went a couple of times for a quick bite and it didnt fail me. It was fast and the service was quick. The food was decent for a diner, not bad and not great. Basically you get what you pay for. I only did not like the bathroom much. If they spend some time cleaning it would be great. I liked their pankcakes too

I love this place! I feel like I've traveled back in time when I go there; has a classic diner feel. Super friendly waitstaff, quick service, good sized portions and cheap eat options. They have the absolute best homemade Corned Beef Hash and other classics like Biscuits and Gravy. Italian Sausage, egg & cheese sandwich is good too (can get it on just about any bread; pumpernickel, sour dough, bagel).

Meldgies brings back childhood memories as sitting at the counter watching the cooks and listen to townies talk. Good large portions not greasy huge pancakes bacon perfect great service great price. If I lived closer I would be a regular... Can't wait to go back

This was a group tour of about 20...for a small place, we all found seats easily. The waitress was extraordinary, immediately zipping around to each of us for drink orders. Drinks were delivered and lunch orders taken. My tuna melt, served with homemade potato chips, was well-filled and grilled to perfection. Lunch was filling and service amazing.

Not even ashamed to admit how many times I go in a short amount of time.

Food was good and service was nice. Would have thought for the price of the sandwich, french fries or a pickle would have been included.

Average diner food. Nothing too exciting but the place is always packed with locals and college kids. Cheap.

I ate here with my Dad and brother for breakfast twice this past weekend. We were quickly seated and placed our orders within the first few minutes. Food is delicious and will fill you up until after lunchtime. Great and friendly service.

Average local fare. Cane for the Johnny cakes. Not super impressed with these heavy breakfast treats.
